The thinking about resource depletion has grown in areas ranging from creative activities, food, construction and more. The transition to a circular economy focuses on the reuse, repair, renovation and recycling of existing materials and products. What we used to consider as "waste" can now be turned into resources. This principle contrasts with the so-called linear economic model of extracting, producing, consuming and disposing.
The Brussels Region is part of this growing dynamic and is full of varied and rich projects that are part of the logic of reuse, repair, upcycling, etc. The Star Waste exhibition gives the visibility of this effervescence to the "general public" and will also try to encourage you to take the turn in favor of this transition.
The scenography of the exhibition was carried out in line with the "Zero Waste" philosophy.
