ARTFUL WONDERS AT BRUSSELS DESIGN SEPTEMBER:
Unveiling Sustainable & Ethical Creations

During Design September at the hotel, we are proud to present three remarkable artists. Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of design as Brussels comes alive with the much-awaited Design September event. Throughout the month, the city celebrates creativity, innovation, and artistic expression, drawing designers, artists, and enthusiasts from around the world.

The first set of artists includes Margaux Baert, a Belgian paper artist, and Gerda Maas, a Dutch mixed media artist. Just as with the Art Nouveau movement, both these artists draw a deep inspiration from nature and from Japanese art imagery. They are associated with Umanoa (www.umanoa.com), a studio company specialising in contemporary Art & Design grounded in sustainable practices. All Umanoa's partner creators combine high-quality crafting and nature-friendly materials. Some also use Biodesign materials, which improve soil and air quality.

The third artist, Peter Donders, a Belgian 3D Designer, seamlessly blends craftsmanship and technology, exploring the frontiers of existing techniques and incorporating fascinating elements inspired by Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta.
